Well, I'm finally finished posting all my 2010 Sakura Con photos. I took less photos this year and Sunday's page really shows. Ah, well...
I'll start adding descriptions for my '09 and '10 pages and get to work on those missing '06 and '08 galleries.

Alright. Finally finished putting up all my Saturday pics. I'm nearly finished with all of my 2010 Sakura Con pics. Only about 40 pics left from Sunday to post. Then I'll start crackin' on those 2006 and 2008 pics.

Kind of a late update. Got home, took a nap, woke up and it was already 11 p.m...
Anyway, filled out the first page for 2010 Sakura Con and added a second page, all from Friday. I wanted to do more, but I gotta go get some sleep and go to work in a few hours. More to come tonight.

Okay, I've finally finished posting all my 2009 Sakura Con pictures. All of the Sunday ones are up. About 75% of it has no descriptors, but I'll catch up to that once I've got all my photos up for the other missing years ('06 and '08).
But, priority goes to this year's pictures so tomorrow, I'll begin posting those. I'll start off with Thursday night as a sampler.

All right. This was probably a mistake, but I decided to stay up late and the end result: we've got a total of 179 photos up!
I've finally covered all of my Friday photos. The drawback is that I haven't written up descriptions for pages 4 through 6. I'll save that chore for the next update. Meanwhile, I at least have all those photos posted so you can at least see them. The Anime Swimsuit Contest ones may not be safe for work viewing so look at your own risk.

Okay, got some more photos up. Added all my Friday morning cosplay photos that I took while waiting for Opening Ceremonies. That's 27 more photos. I'll try to limit the number of photos per page. Still, I have around 400 photos so I may have several pages of photos when I'm finished.

Wow. No updates in a year? Let's fix that...
Sakura Con 2009 was just yesterday. Or rather Sunday. It's technically Tuesday morning now. But anyway, I've got the first page up from Thursday night.
I'm working on getting the Sakura Con 2006 pics done. I have the majority of them on the server right now. You just can't see them yet until I build the pages. I actually have even more 2006 photos from a different camera, but I haven't edited those yet.
I'll get to Sakura Con 2008 photos after all of the above is done. 2009 has priority right now. 2006 after that since it's long overdue.
Oh, and a big thank you to all of you who actually visited my Art Show setup. I actually sold a print this year. I was selling prints of the three Sakura Con mascots that I submitted over the past few years. Of course, none of them won. Well, at least one person liked it. Thank you, my first paying customer, whoever you are.

Big update!
The Miscellaneous art section is back from the dead! I've finally got around to putting the page back up, and as a bonus, I've added some new content to it! Well, some of the content isn't completely new. The Sakura Con mascots are there. But still, do check it out!
Also, I've added content to my Illustrator page. Lots of old stuff there and slightly newer stuff there. But it's all new to the site since it's never been on here before. Well, except the Kirby one. But still, do check it out!

Actually, here's a better update. I decided to add content to my Photoshop page, so feel free to gawk at my (mediocre) Photoshopping prowess.
Also, I added some decriptions to each page so it doesn't look so blank for the empty pages. Yeah, yeah, it'll have actual content in them soon too.
Also, in my Contact page, I've added links to the various message boards I haunt. I'm not saying to join them just to get a hold of me, but if you want to discuss stuff I care about, please feel free to join in, but do observe the rules as they are strictly enforced at certain sites.

Hope my server hasn't crashed from people accessing the pillows photos.

Just came back from the pillows' show here in Seattle. For the uneducated, the pillows are a Japanese pop rock group, whose music was most famously used for the anime, FLCL ("Fooly Cooly") which was seen on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim a while back.
Anyway, since I'd first seen FLCL back in '03, I've been hooked on the pillows' music. They came here last year for their Delicious Bump tour with The Noodles (a female Japanese pop rock band) who are on the same label as the pillows, and had other local acts that performed, including The Stereo Future, of which one of the members was responsible in helping to even get the pillows to play here in Seattle. I still have photos of that concert here for those who are interested, albeit in small amounts and relatively crappy in quality. I'll eventually build a page to house these pics.
The pillows once again came and went and rocked hard. They were here promoting their latest album, "MY FOOT", with The Stereo Future fronting the concert. I have many many photos which can be viewed here until I build a proper page for these as well. And hey, maybe the tour will come to your town. Check here to see if you'll be as lucky as I am to see the pillows live.
Also, while I was waiting in line, a charming young woman who came all the way from Portland with her boyfriend to see the show requested to have a picture drawn of her and I obliged. She was kind enough to give me a cool thank you note. I gave her my business card so hopefully she's reading this. I never did get her name, but if you are, I just wanted to give you a quick "you're welcome". :)

I suck at the Internet. Or something.
Yeah, I know, it's been a really long time since I've updated. I just wanted to take a really long break from art for a while and just kinda refocus. Kinda take stock of life and see what I really want to do. I think I'll start taking a stab at drawing again. Well, I already started at least. I entered another mascot contest for Sakura Con again. Here's my entry for 2007. I won't know until closing ceremonies at Sakura Con this year if I won or not. I really tried this time. I actually have some faith that I didn't suck. If I lose, maybe I'll take another eight month break. *shrug*
Hopefully I'll have more stuff to post soon. But of course, take that with a grain of salt.
Oh yeah, Happy Fourth of July, Happy Birthday to me (7/29), Happy Labor Day, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Valentine's Day. I think that covers all the holidays I missed acknowledging on here. Yeah.
