Hi all! If you're not familiar, there's this annual anime convention in Washington State called "Sakura Con" that's been around since 1998 (when it was called "Baka Con"). This year, I finally had the gumption to bring a camera and take lots of pictures. I share them here online for all of you to see. To learn more about Sakura Con, click here. Also, if you can identify these people and/or the characters they're portraying, please e-mail me. The con was held in Everett, WA at the Everett Holiday Inn on April 27 - 29, 2001. It was the first year at a new hotel. All the previous cons since the first Baka Con in '98 were all held in Tukwila, WA at the the Southcenter Doubletree hotel. But the con got so big, it was relocated. Thankfully, it wasn't too far. This is also the first year I stayed at the hotel the con was at. I used to just drive from home to the con each day 'cause it was so nearby. It's definitely more fun to stay at the hotel! It's 24-hour non-stop anime fun! It's Sakura Con 2001!
