Day Two - Still Waiting for Cosplay

Cosplay still hadn't started seating yet so I continued to wander around, taking pics.

Here's another sort of obscure character. It's Daisuke Ido from Battle Angel Alita, (aka Gunnm in Japan). [insert name here] totally has the character's outfit perfect, right down to the cool hammer.

Here's Ashitaka and San, both from the movie, Princess Mononoke. Here they're played by [insert name here] and [insert name here]. Nice costumes!

Another giant animal mascot! Here we have [insert name here] dressed as Pen-Pen from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Here's [insert name here] dressed as the goddess, Peorth, from Oh! My Goddess. I believe I took this pic as it was about to rain while waiting in line for the Dealer's Room.

Hey, here's our favorite dance DJ, Ahna, helping out at the Anime Kingdom booth at the Dealer's Room. Not sure who she's dressed as though, but she's holding up a nice Chobits doll for sale.

Here's Jamie and Alicia. I ran into them back in '01 dressed as Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura. Here we have them dressed as Chun-Li from the Street Fighter games and Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew.

Here's "Quetzalcoatl" as Zechs Marquise from Gundam Wing. I really like the helmet! Quetzalcoatl tells me that he made it from a bike helmet with metallic paint and panels of mylar hot-glued to it. By the way, you probably can't tell from this pic because of the lighting, but it's actually silver-colored. Very impressive work!

Ooh! This is a great one! Here's [insert name here] dressed as Lady Kaede from Inuyasha. She's a perfect fit for this costume and she's totally got it down, right to the eyepatch. Very cool!

Here's [insert name here] dressed as Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Here's another Sakura from Card Captor Sakura. Here she's played by Kendra.

Here's some old-school Final Fantasy cosplayers. A black mage and a white mage played by [insert name here] and [insert name here].

Day Two - Cosplay Show

Finally, we're let into cosplay. I actually managed to get quite a few decent shots this year since I got better seats. Actually, the reason my shots turned out better is 'cause I forgot to turn off the flash. Oops! In any case, I need a better camera.

Here's the first skit. It was based around Inuyasha. They had this really great prop of a tree with Inuyasha stuck to it. Here, Kagome steps onstage.

Here, the skit continues with the creepy centipede lady from the first episode. Nice centipede lady prop.

Here's Inuyasha beating up the centipede lady.

Here's a skit about The Legend of Zelda - The Ocarina of Time. Here, Sheik, Saria and Link are exchanging words.

I think Link and Sheik are fighting.

Here's a skit called "Baka Zoku". It has that weird giant bear from Akira, and... Harry Potter?!

Here's Chris Vance as Akuma from Street Fighter. I think he's gonna fight Harry Potter.

Somehow, it leads to Akuma and (I think) Genma from Ranma½ doing a dance together.

I have no idea.

Here's a little Vampire Princess Miyu skit.

Here's Brandii, dressed as Jessie of Team Rocket from Pokémon, doing a monologue in character.
