| Day Two - After the Cosplay |
After cosplay, there's usually the chaos that ensues when the audience exits and people are trying to photograph all the cosplay entrants.
Here's [insert name here] as Yuna from Final Fantasy X. I'm always impressed by how well-made
Yuna's stick wands are.
Once again, here's [insert name here] as Vash the Stampede from Trigun. He's become quite the
regular at the con as Vash.
Here's Carmen dressed as Team Rocket's Jessie from Pokémon.
She too is becoming the con regular as Jessie.
Here's "MHHornfreak" as his namesake, Midvalley the Hornfreak from Trigun, jammin' on his guitar.
Here's [insert name here] dressed as, uh... I don't know. And on the right is [insert name here] dressed
as Mokona from Magic Knights Rayearth, that is to say a girl inspired by Mokona. Mokona is
really the little white rabbit-thing she's holding.
Here's [insert name here] again dressed as that cool Master Roshi from the Dragonball series.
He's joined by [insert name here] dressed as Bulma in the Planet Namek story arc of Dragonball Z.
Here's [insert name here] dressed as Belldandy from Oh! My Goddess!.
Speaking of Belldandy, here's Melissa Quinn, the great costume maker, looking utterly gorgeous in her
super-awesome Belldandy costume. No offense to other Belldandy cosplayers, but nobody compares to Mel's
craftsmanship with her Belldandy costume.
Hey, it's that cool Alucard that I ran into yesterday! And this time, he's with [insert name here] Sir
Integra, also from Hellsing.
Wait a minute, didn't I already get this guy? Oh well. Here's "umipixie"'s friend again, dressed
again as Sanosuke from Rurouni Kenshin.
Also fresh from his cosplay performance, here's Chris Vance again as Akuma from the Street Fighter
games. Here he's doing one of those loud, raucous female laughs like. OH HO HO HO HO HO!
Nice! Here's [insert name here] in Lain's (of Serial Experiments Lain) cute teddy bear pajamas.
[insert name here] actually makes a really good Lain.
Whoa! It's Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. Awesome job on the sword! It's friggin' huge!
Just like it's supposed to be. I thought Cloud was a blonde though. Anyway, here he's played by [insert
name here].
Here's a better shot of "MHHornfreak" as Midvalley the Hornfreak from Trigun. He's jammin' on the
sax with "HentaiNoTenshi" dressed as Gally from Battle Angel Alita. They're pretty good. I heard

Something crazy happened just before the dance. Some jerk decided to pull the fire alarm and the entire wing of the hotel where the conference center was had to be evacuated. This especially sucked because it was also cold and it started to rain outside. I decided to take some pics of the situation.
Here's the start of the evacuation. Everybody was moving en masse through the hallways.
Here's everybody moving into the lobby of the conference center.
Here we are getting outside through the doors.
And here we are, finally all outside. That's Daniel Harrison in the center, one of the chairpersons
for the con.

People are getting wet waiting outside the conference center.
And finally, the fire trucks show up. We waited another twenty minutes or so before we were allowed
to go back in.

While I was waiting for the dance to start, I was hanging with Theo, one of the DJs for the dance, in
another part of the hotel. We were all confused about what was happening. Eventually, he got word
that things were clear and he could go back to set up for the dance. Here's his friend, [insert name
here], sitting under a stairwell dressed as Rakka from Haibane Renmei.
