| Day 1 - Opening Ceremonies |
Opening Ceremonies was actually quite enjoyable - dare I say it, more enjoyable than any other previous con (with the exception of last year's stunning performance with the dragon - I mean, who can top that?). This was thanks mostly in part to Mark Nguyen and The 404s, a travelling anime improv comedy group out of Alberta, Canada who appear at various anime cons across the nation. They kept the Opening Ceremonies from being too stiff and were quite entertaining. Hopefully they come back and Mark MC's the con's events again next year. Aside from some technical problems with the opening video, the whole event ran smoothly.
