After the Pokémon shoot, I grabbed some dinner at Wendy's (it's so convenient to drive to the mall for food). I was originally going to go to Denny's but the place was jam-packed with other con-goers that it was just taking too long to get a table so I drove to Southcenter. This is gonna be one of the things I'll miss about having the con at Sea-Tac. Later that night, I was invited by a friend to meet with a documentarian who was interviewing people about anime and the cosplaying culture. It was quite pleasant. I'd never been interviewed on camera before so this was a new experience. Hopefully, the film comes to fruition and we'll all get to see it on PBS or something. Also, I took more pictures.
A new thing this year was that they added a second dance to the weekend con schedule. So basically, this year there were two, high-energy dances, the first being tonight. It had a very Club MTV atmosphere. They played anime music videos (well, the video parts at least) against house and trance music as people danced. I stayed for a couple hours before deciding that I was really tired, but not before taking lots of pictures. |
