More cosplay sketches came and went. Towards the end, the annual favorites, Bakazoku and the new favorite, Slightly Anime, were hilarious as usual.
During the intermission, we were treated to a stage fighting demonstration from Dreamcatchers Studio. They also showed off an interesting demostration of voice acting both pre-recorded and live. And on top of that, we even got a short musical number. Now I wish I'd attended their panel earlier. Hope they come back next year. After the intermission started running long, Mark had to come back on stage and entertain the crowd a little longer. The audience had him doing lots of silly dancing and singing and eventually, he was the target of a double glomp attack. Eventually, the judges made their decision and the awards were handed to the winners.
During the Cosplay intermission, I was getting cold chills. Literally. I don't know what happened. But somehow, I developed a fever. When Cosplay was over, I was totally lightheaded and probably delirious. I wanted to stick around longer to snap the cosplayers like usually do, but I was also really hungry on top of being seriously ill (it's quite rare for me to be sick) so I kinda staggered out to get some grub and eventually went back to my room. That was it. I was pretty much bedridden for the rest of the night so I was forced to miss out on a lot of cool events, not to mention the Saturday night dance, one of the other high points of the con that I was so waiting for. However, in my fevered haze, I somehow still managed to take a few more pics before calling it a night. Still sucked to be me though. |
