Shizuka (Japanese for "quiet") was originally created as a mascot for Sakura Con many years ago (back when they were still called "Baka-Con".) Back before the con started, I was approached by a con staffer to create a character that was vibrant and energetic and at the same time attractive and sexy. Unfortunately, the Sakura-con folks decided not to use her. But fortunately for me, I get to keep her as one of my own characters and as my site mascot. She is also great practice for me to draw, and since I drew her so much, she gets her own page of art. So, here's Shizuka!
