Sketch #0071   Date: 7/26/2003   (Click thumbnail to enlarge) Notes This is actually a really neat sketch of this really old character I made named Keiko. She was to be a mascot for this anime club at the University of Washington called the Anime Discover Project. I hadn't drawn her in years and decided to do a new take on her. I'm actually quite pleased at how well this sketch turned out. She used to dress a lot more tomboyish and reserved. Now she's kind of an alternative girl. Her look is inspired by this girl I saw at a parade earlier in the day whose outfit caught my eye. Lots of stripes.
